The Coastal Response Program is a key component of Western Canada Marine Response Corp.’s response readiness regimen. Founded on strong partnerships with coastal communities, the program aims to safeguard Canada’s West Coast from the impacts of marine spills by sharing response strategies and involving communities in response initiatives.
OUR ROLE
Ink has been working with the Coastal Response Program since 2016, providing strategic communications support on projects ranging from websites to brochures to stakeholder engagement.
OUR WORK
The Coastal Response Program required a program website to connect with coastal communities and First Nations, ensuring the different tools and opportunities for partnership were clearly communicated. As part of our ongoing work with the Program, we helped create a written brand identity and program website. In addition to developing the brand messaging and core narrative, Ink established the tone and voice for the brand and consulted on all elements of the website’s design. We also wrote and edited all website copy as well as a program brochure, and consulted on the brochure’s design. The project took one year to complete, and was launched in late 2017.
