The Sedin Family Foundation works with schools, community groups, and social service agencies to identify needs, and find creative and unique ways to make a difference for children and families. The foundation makes annual gifts to programs that support children’s health and education, with a focus on family wellness in communities throughout British Columbia.
INK’S ROLE
Ink has helped the Sedin Family Foundation raise awareness about giving initiatives as well as the organizations and families the foundation supports.
INK’S WORK
Our first partnership was the launch of Clubhouse 36, an out-of-school program supporting children and their families in Surrey’s inner cities. Ink worked closely with the foundation and its partners to create web copy, draft media materials, and plan and execute a media relations campaign, including on-site media coordination and wrangling interviews during the launch event.
Other projects have included writing, editing and media relations work around the foundation’s sponsorship of more than a dozen First Nations youth to attend the annual Gathering Our Voices Indigenous Youth Leadership Training conference.
